Antiques Showroom Makes Way for New Guest Suites, Georgian Library Lounge and Gift Shop!

Antiques Showroom Makes Way For New Guest Suites.

Studio Guest Suites will soon close for renovations once more.  Scheduled to throw open the doors again in October 2017, When a flashy new foyer, Georgian library lounge, 3 additional guest suites and a refined collection of antiques will be revealed in the all new guesthouse gift shop. The new collection includes jewellery, art-glass, silver and clocks, and will trade online and by appointment. The new entry foyer illuminated by a gorgeous Murano chandelier, oversized gold gilt rococo wall mirror and apple green velvet parlour seating, will make for a lustrous guest welcome.

The Studio Guest Suites Are Shunting The Way Back To An Imagined “Romance of Travel” Era.

Each new guest suite will be individualised with an amazing antique stylised bed. The bathrooms will boast floor to wall marble, most with gorgeous free stand deep soak bathtubs. Each suite equipped with large screen smart TV, Foxtel service and tablet computers with free Wi-Fi of course.

Guest lounge furnishings are quintessential remnants of a Georgian era, from a time when the brandy room was the hub for entertaining and most respected room of the household. Likewise our Georgian lounge will be the cosiest place in town for guests to relax on grand chesterfield sofas, in front of a cracking fireplace, perhaps with a nip of brandy or cup of Nespresso in hand. The crystal chandelier, Georgian grandfather clock and regency chessboard table, are amongst many fine antiques selected for the handsome library that is devoted to classic reads.

Guests will recognise the ‘Studio Guest Suites’ on arrival by the Victorian street lamps flagging our Georgian look building on Town View Terrace. Guests will have no trouble finding free on-site parking. Rooms start from $230 per night. Bookings are now open for October 2017 forward.
